The St Andrew's College Pipe Band Committee is pleased to once again announce a collaboration with Astrolabe Wines, a leading wine producer based in Marlborough.A limited amount of Astrolabe's 2025 Sauvignon Blanc and 2025 Pinot Gris has been secured in cases of six, displayed with a custom-designed Pipe Band label.
Astrolabe Wines has a history of producing world-class wines and has received trophies, Gold Medals, and 5-star ratings every vintage since its inception. The wine is perfect for entertaining, cellaring, gifting, or as a special keepsake.
The proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards helping the Pipe Band to get to the World Pipe Band Championships in Scotland in 2026, as well as Nationals in New Plymouth. It will also go towards much-needed equipment, kilts, and gear for all the bands to utilise and enjoy.
Both of the wines are being sold at a discounted rate of $99.00 for a case of six ($16.50 per bottle), which is significantly lower than the recommended retail price of $28.00 per bottle – that's a whopping $69.00 saving on the RRP!
Supplies are very limited, so we encourage you to place your order as soon as possible!
There will be opportunities for collection of purchases later in the year from outside the College Shop – Thistles (located next to the Normans Road carpark – 50 Normans Road). Specific dates are yet to be confirmed, as the wine will be so fresh that it hasn't even been booked for bottling yet!
