The St Andrew's College Pipe Band Committee is pleased to once again announce a collaboration with Astrolabe Wines, a leading wine producer based in Marlborough.A limited amount of Astrolabe's 2026 Sauvignon Blanc and 2026 Pinot Gris has been secured in cases of six, displayed with a custom-designed Pipe Band label. This year’s label will commemorate the Pipe Band's attendance at the World Pipe Band Championships in August.
Astrolabe Wines has a long-standing history of producing world-class wines and has received trophies, Gold Medals, and 5-star ratings every vintage since its inception. The wine is perfect for entertaining, cellaring, gifting, or as a special keepsake – especially with this year's commemorative label!
Proceeds from this fundraiser will support the Pipe Band's journey to the World Pipe Band Championships in Scotland this August.
Both wines are being sold at a special price of $99.00 per case of six ($16.50 per bottle), significantly lower than the recommended retail price of $28.00 per bottle – a saving of $69.00 off the RRP!
Supplies are limited, so we encourage you to place your order as soon as possible and support the St Andrew’s College Pipe Band as they prepare to compete in Glasgow in August.
Collection will be available later in the year (around the June/July school holidays) from outside the College Shop – Thistles (located next to the Normans Road carpark – 50 Normans Road). Specific dates are yet to be confirmed, as the wine will be so fresh it has not yet been scheduled for bottling!
