Tiffany grew up in Nelson where her family run the Celtic Pipe Band. She started learning the tenor drum at age 9 and continued to learn snare drum and eventually bass drum. At 15 years old Tiffany joined The Foundation Youth Pipe Band of New Zealand. The same year, Tiffany also received the opportunity to play with the six-time world champion Simon Fraser University pipe band from British Columbia, Canada, where she completed four seasons with the band.

Tiffany currently lives on a dairy farm near Temuka and continues to play for Celtic. She also plays for her local band The South Canterbury Highland Pipe Band and is heavily involved in the teaching programme in both South Canterbury and Celtic, as well as running the midsection for The National Youth Pipe Band of New Zealand. Tiffany has been enjoying teaching tenor drumming at St Andrew’s College since the start of 2023.
