St Andrew's College Rowing – Sponsorship Prospectus

Rowing continues to go from strength to strength at St Andrew's College. The squad achieved significant successes at the 2023 Maadi Cup regatta with three golds and a silver medal. The energy, drive and enthusiasm of the rowing squad and the staff, coaches and supporters have led to unprecedented numbers in the rowing club. As a result, the rowing club has become the home for an impressive count of 80 students to date.

Rowing is genuinely for all genders. The recent success at the Tokyo Olympic Games by both the women’s and men’s squads has illustrated this in the best possible way to young New Zealand athletes. St Andrew’s 'Life is Co-ed' motto fits this bill perfectly and at St Andrew’s College rowing we are working hard to develop the best co-ed secondary school rowing programme across Aotearoa. Through our efforts, we aim to instil essential skills in our rowers, such as commitment, the ability to work hard, teamwork, and effective time management, contributing to their holistic development.

The growth in the rowing club is a tremendously positive development for the health, welfare and spirit of the school but comes at a significant cost in equipment and logistics. We need your support to sustain and grow rowing at St Andrew's. In return, we can offer you the opportunity to be associated with this high profile and fast-growing sport at some of the biggest sporting events in New Zealand.

Sponsorship Categories

We have tailored a number of sponsorship categories to suit different budgets and profiles:

Gold sponsor – $10,000 per year

• named as sponsor on regatta tent signage, banners and in rowing publications
• name displayed on two boats
• entry in St Andrew's College Philanthropy Report;
• named on St Andrew's College website sponsorship page;
• named on supporters' poster/t-shirt 

Silver sponsor – $5000 per year

• named as sponsor on banners and rowing publications
• name displayed on boat and trailer/other prominent position
• entry in St Andrew's College Philanthropy Report;
• named on St Andrew's College website sponsorship page;
• named on supporters' poster/t-shirt

Bronze sponsor – $2000 per year

• named as sponsor on banners and rowing publications
• name displayed on a set of sweep oars
• entry in St Andrew's College Philanthropy Report;
• named on St Andrew's College website sponsorship page;
• named on supporters' poster/t-shirt

Ideally, all sponsors would commit for a minimum of two seasons. We also look to maintain continuity and succession between sponsors, so the club's support remains sustainable. We currently have sponsorship berths available in all categories for the 2023/2024 season apart from the gold sponsorship category.
